    2 TB SSD EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE


    Hi everyone, Hey is there anyone using a 2TB SSD drive out there? If so which one and how do you like it? Yeah I know that people are going to post on here about the price and yeah you're right they are pricey. But right now I've got the biggest internal
    ssd that xbox makes, And it's not going to last much longer. Yeah high speed raid arrays are almost as fast, Yeah you're right. And parts moving at high speeds tend to fail quicker too. I'm going to make an investment in buying the ssd instead of moving parts.

    External hard drive - clarification needed please

    Bought a new computer, took the hybrid SSD and placed it into an external 3.0 case - BAM, 2 more TB of space. Was painless...

    You can have up to 3 external hard drives/ssd on the Series X|S and Xbox One. Each hard drive/ssd can have a minimum capacity of 128 GB and a maximum of 16 TB. If you try more than that, then it's more than likely you will get data corruption.

    Can't install Xbox App games in a drive other than C:

    It's not an external drive but a different SSD.

    My boot drive (C:) has only 512gb capacity but I have a different SSD installed with 4 TB capacity

    External hard drive question time!.

    I have two separate 2 TB external hard drives, for a total of 4 TB of extra storage. I haven't had any issues with either drive.
