    Hi , I bought a External Hard Drive but it is stuck on Media and i cannot change it to Games and apps? It is a 2 TB Seagate Hard Drive

    Can you combine your storage togather?

    They cannot be combined. However, you can add an external hard drive up to 2 TB in size to store your games on

    320 GB hard drive is TOO small

    you should buy a 1 tb hard drive or 2 tb one if your downloading lots

    Or you can try and go into Settings > Systems> Manage Storage> Hit A on your external drive then you should get a menu and one option should be Format.

    Is this Hard drive USB 3.0? If it isnt, then it will only be recognized for media storage, and not for game storage

    Once a hard drive is designated for media, the option to format it for Xbox One usage doesn't pop up because it would be annoying to have that pop up every time you connected the drive. Follow Richiestang's advice in the last post he made above and you can
    format it for use as Xbox One storage there.
