    2 players on minecraft xbox 360 live


    Is it possible for 2 players to play mincraft as split screen on live?

    It is connected with HDMI cable but when I try to add the other player I get this message

    "Multi player not allowed failed to create an online game as one or more players are not allowed to play

    multi player games on xbox live. Uncheck the online game box to start an offline game"

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Minecraft Xbox One coming this Friday!

    Hello "Lofty Who" and everyone 2 players on minecraft xbox 360 live :)

    Minecraft on Xbox Live has been a big success and would prefer it to any other platform. Even several of my friends who also have the PC version prefer the Xbox Live version. M does a great job with providing fun on Xbox 360 and Xbox 1. Phil Spencer mentioned
    on 4J's twitter that Xbox 360 has 13 million Minecraft players and that version has only been out for 2 years. Just imagine how many players will have the Xbox 1 version in 2 years.

    You need to make sure your xbox display settings is set to at least 720p in system settings

    Thanks for reply it is set correct. We can play one player on live and we can play 2 player split screen not on live but are trying to play 2 player on live. Does anybody know if this is possible?

    You should be able to do it from what I've read the 2nd person will be signed in as a guest but they need to be there at the start of the session they can't join a session.

    I'm afraid that any account that wants to play online games will need a seperate xbox live gold subscription on the xbox 360.

    Forza Horizon doesn't support 2 player splitscreen, so you can only play this game with more players when each will have its own console (and game)

    Minecraft does support 2 player splitscreen
