2 Players on Forza 6 10 years motorsport

Yes you are right I just finished the intro game race where in you get to drive the Super cars like Ford GT

After that it came to another beginner race where it looks like cars like Toyota 86 and VW Golf R were the ones to choose like the LIma Rock Raceway something

But Yes I did complete that race twice but I still didn't get to see Freeplay. Is it because I have come last every time ?

 

You need to complete the other couple of races at the start of the game, it doesn't matter where you finish as long as you complete those races.

 

How many do you reckon cause I have finished 4 to 5 of these races and yet find no difference.

It's weird that such a simple functionality should be pre existing and not based on conditions.

weird, ok start a race and then quit out of the race and go back to the menus, do you now see the GO RACE option at all ?

Most driving games have a small tutorial of sorts before advanced features are available, I guess it's just to get you used to the controls etc before you go diving headlong into things.

The closest one in the Options is the second pic where I get to see the "Start Race" & "Assists" only as of now with a few different options but not the same as the one in your picture

 

Start a race then press the smallest button on the right hand side on your controller, that brings up the pause menu, from that select end race or quit race or whatever is says.

 

Do you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription on your account?

I wonder if as the free play mode falls under the multiplayer section if a gold sub would be required!!

 

Well I do have it as part of the new purchase 14 day trial that Microsoft provide but then again if it is the case then in order to have Free Play I would always have to have Gold subscription.

Although I am yet to try your last comment to see if I do get the 2 Player/Freeplay option.

No problem, a trial membership doesn't always give you full access to all the online features of games.

The Gold sub is in my opinion worth the cost, you get free games each month which you can use for as long as you have an active subscription so that's one way to bulid up your games library some, Plus you get to meet all the idiots online :/ which is a small
minority but you know.

Please let me know how you go on and if it is you want to try a Gold sub other than your current free trial I do have a few 3 month membership codes floating around one of which I'd be more than happy to supply to you at no cost.

 

Appreciate your gesture mate... but out of curiosity I do have a few other games like Creeds Assassin and Call of Duty.

Are these games like similar in functionality that you have to achieve certain levels of game completion in order to have 2 player functionality activated ? If ever you have an experience on them

 

Most games don't require you to perform certain tasks in order to unlock all the features but some do. Pretty much every game though does require a Gold subscription in order to unlock all the online features.

Still no luck with the Split screen I assume. That really should be working by now, I'm really starting to think it's something to do with the Gold subscription thing.

The 14 day trial you're using may not allow a large proportion in the online side of games to fully function. You'd need at least a month or maybe even 3 month sub minimum that isn't a trial.

Have a think about the offer of the 3 month sub, I have to sleep now, spent most of the night on the new Spiderman game on PS4, at my age you'd think I'd know better than to set my alarm for midnight to play a game when I have to be at work for 6am but well
you know how it is

 

I am yet to try and truly and honestly I just bought a console for casual gaming and a little bit of enjoyment and involvement thats it. Things have drastically changed from the days of Sega 16 bit simplicity to now.
