    2 player minecraft set up


    I'm somewhat illiterate when it comes to gaming but my 10 year old son has asked me to help him to install 2 players on his xbox 360 for Minecraft.

    I have an HD TV.

    I would think that the game would just allow you to have one or two players innately but I've been reading that you have to do something through XBox live or add another cable to the set up? I just want to play offline. Me and my son.

    If someone could provide me with an idiot proof how to I'd be much appreciative.

    How do I set up the split screen in minecraft? I just recently downloaded the full game and started playing it but I still don't know how to set up 2 player split screen. Can someone tell me?

    From what I here, connecting an hdmi cable will allow multiplayer offline. you will need multiple controllers/accounts, however.

    You just need to play the game on survival or probably creative mode.Then on offline mode or online press the start botton on the second controller.Then your TV screen will be divided to two parts and you will join the game.

    If you aren't able to get split screen and are using some sort of HD cable (HDMI, VGA, or Component), then check your display settings on the Xbox. Make sure the resolution is set as high as your TV will allow as the split screen does not work with Standard
    Definition settings (480p). This will also make the rest of your games look better.
