2 Microsoft accounts in 1

Hi,

Yes, you can use your Gmail address as a Microsoft account you can then transfer your game tag. My brother did that for his daughter's account. This will be creating a new Microsoft account that will be using your Gmail address as it's
user.

The easiest way to do this is entered here,
https://signup.live.com enter your Gmail account, and it will guide you through the process to create the Microsoft account. Just a heads up, if your Gmail account is currently your back-up mail for your Microsoft account, it will first warn you that mail
is already in use by another Microsoft account.

Edit: after you created the new account with the gmail address as its user you'll still need to do the process to change your email like XBF Brad A mentioned.

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you want to
change your email. Unfortunately, if you are getting the error that the email is already in use: That means it is set as a primary on another account in which it is. You will first have to change the email on the one you want the email from. Once that
is done, then you should be able to add it to the other account.

Important Note: If the email is a Microsoft email(outlook, Hotmail, Live etc.) you will be unable to change the email. Also, if you remove the email from the account, if its a Microsoft it will delete it automatically.

I'm not 100% positive but I believe since both accounts already exist there isnt a way to combine your gamer tag with the one you use for the rest of your stuff.

  My account is not "lost". I can log into it on Xbox live and on the forum. (i posted this question from "account 2". I however cannot log into it on the Microsoft page, because it logs me into account 1, using account 2's email.
  
• If I use email 1 or 2 on Microsoft page, it logs me into account 1.
  
• account 1 email logs me into account 1 on xbox
  
• account 2 email logs me into account 2 on xbox
  
• I don't want account 2. but i want to use email 2 for account 1. for everything.
  
• Email 2 is not listed as an alias on account 1. but that's the email my verification code goes to from account 1 and 2.
  
• Anytime I use a code for account 1 or 2 it just logs me into account 1 on Microsoft.
  
• Even while on this forum for account 2, I click "my Microsoft account" and it take me to account 1.
