2 Microsoft accounts for PC and Xbox

Hello Cking, if by "combine" you mean merging one account with another unfortunately is not possible, however you can have your main professional account on your PC, and in the Xbox App to play log in your account that has your subscription and your games.

I already own red dead redemption 2 on my Microsoft account for Xbox so why can't I use my Microsoft account to install the game on my PC?

Because like many other games, Red Red Redemption 2 isnt a play anywhere title meaning if you bought it for Xbox then that only entitles you to the Xbox version of the game.

If you want to play the PC version then youll need to purchase the PC version.

1) Enroll your new address at
http://signup.live.com (unlesss it's already a Microsoft Account addresse) on a PC or Mac

2) On the Xbox, do Settings | Account | -> -> Account Security | Change Microsoft Account.

The new Xbox (Beta) app on PC for the Xbox Game Pass for PC, included with Game Pass Ultimate, and the Xbox Console Companion app uses the account logged into the Microsoft Store app, not Windows, for subscription and game license verifications. Log
in normally to Windows with Account #1. Then, open the Microsoft Store from your Start menu, and
in the upper right corner, click on your account picture and sign out from Account #1. Sign in to Account #2, and from there the Xbox (Beta) app should recognize Account #2 and allow you to start installing games. Make sure you are also signed in to Account
#2 on the Xbox (Beta) app, but it should automatically do it once you sign in to the right account on the Microsoft Store.

Sign in to Account #2 in the Microsoft Store and then let us know if it allows you to install games while logged into Account #1 for Windows.

To switch to a different Microsoft account than the one you’re signed in with in your Xbox app—as you’d want to do if your Xbox gamertag is associated with a different Microsoft account (formerly known as a Windows Live ID)—do the following.

Sign in to your PC using a different Microsoft account

1.On your PC, select the Settings charm.

2.Select Change PC settings.

3.Select Users.

4.Under Other users, select an account.

If needed, select Add a user and enter the email address and password for the Microsoft account you want to use.
