2 language keyboard

I want to talk to my brother in a nother country but he doesn't understand English. So can we get a second language for our keyboard. Thanks.

Xbox App Keyboard

I found the solution! I am now able to type on my Xbox using my actual keyboard in windows.

It seems to only work if your Xbox and Windows is using the EXACT same input language and location. (This is a bit of a problem for me in South Africa because the Xbox doesn't have South Africa input English languages, but I'll cross the bridge when I get
there)

Here is where to set the settings if anyone else needs it.

CHANGING MY "Keyboard language" IN MY XBOX ONE SETTINGS (SETTINGS > SYSTEM > LANGUAGE & LOCATION > INPUT > KEYBOARD LANGUAGE) TO THE EXACT SAME LANGUAGE AS THE KEYBOARD LANGUAGE ON MY PC(SETTINGS > TIME & LANGUAGE > REGION & LANGUAGE > [YOUR LANGUAGE] >
OPTIONS > KEYBOARDS)

 

Microsoft are Anti-English-Language in Trial. How to fix?

Is your Operating system a single language pack Operating System?

If it is a single language pack, we are sorry but you cannot change the language in the Operating System.

Kindly follow the steps below to change the regional language settings.

1. Go to
Start > Settings > Time & Language
> Region and Language.

2. To change PC’s language option follow the steps

3. Select the
language and then click on Options. If your language is not available, go to language options
and click on Download (to download the language pack) once the pack is downloaded go back to the
Region & language, select the Language and Click on
Set as primary.

4.
You will get a notification, “Will be display language after next sign-in.”

5. Sign out
of Windows and sign back in, your new language will be set.

6. To add a keyboard, click on
Add a language and choose the keyboard language you want to add. To switch between keyboards, you can click the taskbar button and select the keyboard you want to use.

You can use the keyboard shortcut
Windows Key + Space to toggle between added keyboards.

It's possible to change the keyboard layout and set a different language. Follow these

instructions.

 

I do not believe this is possible on the Xbox, your region is based on the location you have set your Xbox to.

 

I believe you can change the language on the Xbox but that is based on the region that you are located in.
