2 fold issue; Controller won't connect and Internet not connected

My xbox one controllers (2) will not connect to the console. Additionally, my console will not connect to the internet. As a result of the first issue, I can't troubleshoot the second. Hard resets, re-syncing, both have failed batteries in both controllers
are good and were swapped out just in case. XB symbol just flashes and never connects on either controller. Best i can figure is the wifi card went out. Any thoughts on this?

What kind of internet connection does your friend have? Is he on a broadband connection? Perhaps he can run a speed test on his connection and send it into Activision to show them that it is a connection issue and therefore not his fault?

Internet Problem. Can't connect to internet

My Xbox one has started to randomly disconnect from internet and Xbox live after a few hours of use and says that it can't connect to internet again. This same issue happened yesterday and this morning it said it couldn't connect but then after restarted
Xbox it connected to internet. This issue just happened again and now my Xbox won't connect to internet or Xbox live

Hey there DismalLion!

Sorry to hear about the controller and internet issues! Are you syncing the controllers to your Xbox One by pressing and holding the sync button on the console and your controller? As you're facing the console, the sync button is on the left side connecting
to the disc drive, and the sync buttons on your controllers are on the top next to the micro usb port.

If that is what you have tried, the next step I recommend is a full power cycle of the console. To do a full power cycle, follow the steps below:

Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds.

Once the unit is powered off, unplug the power cable from the Xbox One and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Plug the power back into the unit and power the console on.

Try those steps and let me know how it goes so that we can continue to help you get this issue sorted!

Idk if I will get a response, because this question is already answered, but I'm having the same as above but with the Xbox 360. Two of my controllers will connect. One of my controllers keeps flashing and wil not connect to the 360.is it possible to do
a full power cycle on the 360? The ten second hold didn't work. It just restated, but is there something I can do to get this controller connected?

When you connect your controller it disconnect you from the internet?

I tried 2 controllers. Both are disconnecting. And when they're both connected, I can see that they disconnect at the same time.

Well, when I don't have any controller connected the Internet is disconnected too. When I stay on the Wi-Fi / Internet page, it says "No connection" with or without a controller connected. The controller is disconnected with the Internet, even when I don't
have a Internet connection set up.

I miss play GTA V...
