2 day free gold trial with holiday bundle will not work.

I recently bought a xbox one holiday bundle with gears of war ultimate. I used the coupon code :
[Mod Removed] for the 2 day trial of live gold. When I play gears of war and go to xbox live it prompts me to pay monthly fees and doesn't let me use the code I entered in the games redemption page. Do I have to play gears of war ultimate
in live verison for all the free gears of wars that come with it to be unlocked also? I just can play gears of war ultimate and thee other 3 gears games arent available to me. My gamer tag is .

xbox free trial 1 month

Hi,

Some games or console bundles may include a prepaid code for a 2, 3, or 14 day Xbox Live Gold trial subscription.

I do not believe Xbox offers the one month free trial any longer with new accounts.

Xbox Live Gold issue

Trials don't change your account status to gold. Some of them will only work with the game they came with and they will not work with all game modes.

Thanks for your quick anwser, I didn't knew that, but is it normal that the two trial that i got didn't even worked on the game I got them from, in any mode, and what about the 2 days Gold prepayed card i bought ?

The 2 day code is also a "trial." MIcrosoft doesn't actually sell 2 day cards. They are usually free. Someone just sold you a 2 day "free" trial.

Yes you must play gears onlime

2day trials probably wontwork

Trials only work on non ranked matches

You do not get the games till after christmas

You have to play from release till christmas to qualify as the promotion mentioned

The two day trial code is on the same card as the gears code for the free weapon skin and character. So 2 days of free gold xbox live does not give 2 days of xbox live?? I don't get it. So if I ever do get on live I just have to play one time on live to
get the other free games right ?

Thanks for the clarity. I'ts kinda shadey how they did it though, giving you 2 days that doesn't count toward the free games. So I have to pay for xbox gold live for a month to get the games I was suppose to get free with unlimited gears , is that right?
I pay for gold live and enter in to live mode and after xmas I get my other gears games?
