2 controllers broke after update!

Couple of weeks ago, an update for the xbox one controller came up, did it fine, then when it came up to do the 2nd controller update, it turnt the 2nd controller off and the controller will not come back on. Bought a new one, and its done exactly the same
today.

The update is fine with first controller, **** the 2nd in to update that and it turns off and will not come on. Its not the batteries as have tested them in the working controller. I have plugged it in to charge and no life in the controller what so ever.

What the hell has happened?

Xbox one controller

I had 2 controllers completely die after update.

Now I'm just waiting to get them repaired.

Never broken any controllers or headsets. I have worn out controllers though!!!

If you have already followed the steps here -
support.xbox.com/.../wireless-controller-wont-power-on then you can consider sending it in for a replacement as the warranty for Xbox One accessories is 90 days.

Found a fix for this, the things in the link above didn't work, from doing a bit of googling a few people recommended using a phone charger wire connected to the USB port of the xbox that fits the controller instead of the xbox charger wire. In my case it
was a blackberry charger but theres a few that work.

I held down the power button and the 2 buttons next to it for about 10 seconds and then the controller started working again! No idea why but now both the 'broken' controllers are working fine!
