2 consoles in our home now. But I have to be logged on my child’s console for her to play ?

Here are easy steps to set Xbox Live Gold & Game Sharing:

Kids Xbox:

1. Sign in as you. Add your profile if not on kids Xbox yet.
2. Set as home Xbox.
3. Set passkey so only you can use your account.
4. Sign out
5. Kids accounts can play all games you own.

Your Xbox:

1. Sign in as you.
   
2. Play any game you own.
   

Set their console as your home xbox. Then they can play and you can log into the other console and play.

As already mentioned by a previous Ambassador, you will need to designate your child's console as Home Xbox.

To designate the Home Xbox, follow these steps:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > General >
   Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.
3. Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.

We also have 2 Xbox in our house and I have set my home Xbox as our secondary and our main Xbox one X is the home console of my spouse. Since we mostly play on the Xbox One X anyways, we can play both games that she purchased on her profile and my games
also without having to log in both profiles.

But I have two separate consoles. I bought a copy of one dlc for destiny 2. I log in on my home Xbox and my wife logs in on our other Xbox and it won’t let her play the dlc for the game because it says she hasn’t bought it, even though my account is on both systems.
