2 accounts on one email

If you do not know the security question to the account, then you will need to make a new account.

You can phone support in your area to see what other options you have but, with out being able to answer the security question they will not be able to assist you much, if at all.

No i only want the one. Somehow he managed to use these same email address on two consoles and set up two different accounts or gamertags. So for example on fortnite he has one account on a shared xbox one downstairs with a battles pass paid for under the
email address, and upstairs on his xbox one digital under the very same email address he managed to set up another account with a different gamer tag which doesnt hold his account and no battle pass.

We’d simply like the one account.

From what I know its not possible to have 2 accounts on the same email, because each gamertag is attached to a unique email address, so your situation might be a little bit different. I would recommend speaking with Xbox Support and go through the options
until you can get a live callback. That will ensure that you can explain everything to the agent and make sure to give him the details regarding the gamertag and the email used.

If you are referring to Microsoft account then Multiple Microsoft accounts with same email address cannot be created as far as i am aware.
