to be its advertised size.

Without going into the math there is the way to calculate space that tell you what you'll really get and the one they use in advertising to make it sound better.

A 1tb drive is in reality only 931GB. Then you add in the Xbox One's OS and space reserved for system functions, and that's why you only get 750GB.

A 1TB Xbox 1 console only has a 1 year warranty as standard. Where as my Seagate SLIM 1TB has a 3 year warranty. It would be better if we could have replaceable HDD's like Xbox 360 and PS4 have. That way when HDD's fail and they are prone to this, they have
moving parts where as solid state HD's have no moving parts and read faster than 5400rpm HDD, you can just buy another Microsoft Xbox HDD from a retailer rather than the pain of getting the whole console serviced by Microsoft. I agree with Lei's comment above.
But all game saves on Xbox 1 are saved automatically and direct to Xbox Live, but game files are way bigger than Xbox 360. I don't need to worry about backing up my Minecraft saves on Xbox 1 (unlike Xbox 360 where it saves to my HDD). Xbox 1's controller is
wireless, so not sure why you cant update the controller wireless instead of plugging in a chord. The wireless controller and console are meant to be able to talk well with each other. It may be a hardware issue, but if there's one company that can push the
limits in hardware, it's Microsoft. I mean you can even now share voice messages between Xbox 360 and Xbox 1, even though Xbox 1 has different audio codec.
