1TB Xbox One Console Launched

Cool, but I'm perfectly fine with the external HDD feature right now, I'm thinking about buying a 2TB HDD with a fraction of cost.

 

Not such a good offer to existing users Ragnarok5000, but nice temptation maybe to 360 owners who don't want untidy external drives and thinking about a one. )

I'd buy this if I didn't have one already, will probably still be buying one if a slim isn't announced at E3.

The 500 MB one can then be demoted to the bedroom. LOL

 

This offer is only good for people who either don't own an Xbox One or just buying it for collection purposes. I'm fine with my standard regular 500GB version, if I want more storage, I will buy a 1TB or 2TB external HDD.

 

I passed 1tb a while ago. Makes no difference to me.

 

I like the matte finish most than the regular.Liquid black I think.

The. Controller is good too. I wonder how the bumpers will work. Over the air updates cool. I might get the grey cameo controller this year.

 

I'm on external now and most my games are on disc, so sure it's an improvement but I think Digital buyers are going to want more.

 

A better option for new comers, but still overall too low for this generation in my opinion. Though with external hard drives the point is kind of mute.

I will definitely upgrade when the size changes.

 

The ps4 is a shocker with size and no usb support, I had to take mine apart and do a sketchy sata cable setup. At least the Xb and wiiu accept external, it's just so easy on the xb1. I'm using a slim external with no external power source on the xb1 and
it's super fast.

 

I think hard drive usage depends on the player. I have a 2TB external on mine and I'm only using 20% of it. I rarely buy digital and delete games if I don't own them anymore. If I didn't already have an X1 1TB might work pretty good for someone like me.

 

I'm tempted, thinking about grabbing one and packing my day one away, just incase me or my lad ever need a spare.

 

Though tempting with the matte finish. I am happy with my current one. May get the new controller later on when my current controller wears out.

If I didn't already have an Xbox One, I would definitely pick this up. But since I already have it, it doesn't make any sense at all to pay the extra money to have a bigger internal HDD; I would buy an external HDD instead (a lot cheaper LOL).

Just got this new 1TB xbox one at game for £250 +trade in of my ps3 and 5 old games at Game. You could do it with a 360 trade in aswell (the newer models anyway). A *** good bargain in my eyes as you get a free copy of The Elder Scrolls Online with it
and another game ive forgotten the name of.

This is my first xbox one as i already have the ps4. I must say im pretty impressed with the console so far although......it is supposed to be a 1TB console, but when you check the amount of space left for you to use out of the box, it is only about 750GB,
SO BE WARNED.

 

Yeah it's the same with the 500gb models, you actually only get 300+gb.

I believe that is is something around 365 GBs of actual usable space in the 500 GB HDD of the Xbox One.

I don't understand why Microsoft didn't just outright put a 1 TB HDD in the Xbox One in the first place.
