Hello. I am new to xbox. I have created a new account and would like to try live gold. My friend said by making a new account I would be given an option to go gold for free (1mo). However, I am not seeing the option. only seeing the $9.99/mo. please help.

If.it does that take.it off and retry.

The option is only available during the account creation process. If you did not take the otpion while you created the account, you cannot go back to the trial.

sorry to say if you did not get the free gold you have to create a new account and try again but you only get up to 3 free gold trials per console.

1month trials don't count as gold.memberships for halo you can only do social non ranked matches for trials
