16GB Sandisk Cruzer no longer has an "Remove Xbox 360 Storage" option.

So just today I needed to customized the storage size on my 16GB flash drive. It was already customized to allow around 4GB of Xbox storage and rest for Windows. I went to my USB on the Xbox then device options but there was no option to "Remove Xbox 360
Storage". The only options I had were "Rename", "Format", "Clear System Cache" and "Transfer Content". So I figured I just do "Format" and when I did, It shows I have 14GB which is the normal amount for the USB. When I move it over to the PC it also shows
14GB free as well. So when I tried to format the USB on PC and move it back to the 360 it still shows 14GB free. I can't reconfigure the USB on my Xbox nor can I customize how much free space I want. No matter how times I format the USB on my computer, it
still shows up as 14GB on the 360. I have formatted it to the default "FAT32" option and still no luck. 16GB Sandisk Cruzer no longer has an "Remove Xbox 360 Storage" option. :( Am I doing something wrong here or what? Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thank you for taking the time to look over my situation 16GB Sandisk Cruzer no longer has an "Remove Xbox 360 Storage" option. :D

    :)

As stated on the back of the game case "8 GB required to play game*" *Additional system requirements: Minimum 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (formatted for Xbox) or Xbox 360 Hard Drive with 8GB free space required for play. Hard drive sold separately
for Xbox 360 4GB, and original Xbox 360 Arcade, Core consoles. See rockstargames.com/v/storage for additional details.

Microsoft Support has recommended the following 3 USB 2.0 options:

    Option #1:
    SanDisk Cruzer Blade

    Option #2:
    PNY Attaché

    Option #3:
    PNY Compact Attaché

What flash drive is best suited for an Xbox 360 S?

Alright so SanDisk is the most popular/Better choice. I narrowed down my choices to these two:

    SanDisk Extreme 16GB USB 3.0
    www.amazon.com/.../B008AF383S

    and

SanDisk Cruzer Blade 32GB USB 2.0
    www.amazon.com/.../B002U1ZBG0

Which one is the better choice out of the two for the Xbox 360 S? The Extreme is $25 and the Cruzer is $21. I'm not looking to spend no more than $25.00.

16GB Sandisk Cruzer no longer has an "Remove Xbox 360 Storage" option.

You no longer need to configure it for storage on 360.

It will now work on both PC and the 360. Try copying files to it on the 360. It should work.

It was changed in the recent dashboard update.

The only time you need to configure a drive for 360 use is if you have no HDD installed as you will then get an option to make the USB a system drive. But if you have a HDD installed or have a 4GB console then you will never see this option and never need
    to.

my 360 deletes anything that is on the memory brick...

When you configure a flashdrive for use as 360 storage, 512mb of the space is reserved for system use.

    -

If the drive is only 16gb in size then that 512mb comes out of the usable space.

    -

However is the drive is larger than 16gb then the 512mb which is reserved by the system will be added onto the end, meaning you get the full 16gb of allowed space to use as 360 storage.

    -

The Sandisk Cruzer Blade 32gb I have passes all the tests on the 360 and has not given me the slightest bit of trouble.

    -

So by picking a different model from Sandisk than the one they make for Microsoft you are getting a cheaper price, the same quality and performance, and more usable space on the drive.

    -

Here is a pic from my console showing that I have the full 16gb allowed by the console.
