December last year spent $180 and had friend bring over a XBOX Elite 2 remote for my son (XMAS present). January this year started noticing some issues with RH bumper button and it got progressively worse. March decided I would try claim under warranty and
to my horror was told it was notified that there was only a 3 month warranty on these controllers and obviously during lock down warranty claim would not be an option.

Controller is like new and basically a paper weight now due to the button issues. Have tried every trick in the book to get it to work but nothing.

Have been with XBOX since its inception (15 year live member) and have never really had issues with hardware until this Elite 2 controller came along. There are obviously hardware issues judging from the sentiment out there and for Microsoft to sit back
and do nothing is criminal!

As topic suggest XBOX will not see a single solitary cent of my money going forward.

Bought through Amazon but get redirected to Microsoft for support. Did post previously regarding situation. Tried all workarounds.

Your post is full of statements but I see no question to answer. These forums are mainly served by fellow gamers. Phone support seems like the only place for you to get any help for your issue but it seems like they gave you an answer that you didn't like.

Is this controller "that a friend brought over" different from the one you said that you bought "off AMAZON store (Microsoft) in December" in your other post?

Unboxed my Series X in October. Stick drift within a month. My Xbox 360 Elite controller still works flawlessly after nearly 15 years.

The new controllers are garbage.

I have numerous controllers but I use my Elite series 1 controller the most. I have not tried out the series 2 controller yet. The controller for me has been worth the money I spent on it. So if you have the extra money definitely go with a Elite controller.

Personally, I would opt for the 1 TB HDD if I had to replace my Xbox One

However, I think that the " Elite Controller " is a waste of money as I would rather have 2 regular controllers instead of 1 Elite Controller LOL
