Discus and support 1440 monitor suggestions? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Can anyone suggest a curved 1440p 35inch+ monitor that has freesync through hdmi to use with my xbox one x?     Can anyone suggest a curved 1440p 35inch+ monitor that has freesync through hdmi to use with my xbox one x? I am struggling to find something less than $1000

    With the announcement today that the x will support freesync and 1440p. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for monitors for the x preferably with hdr 1440 or 4k?

    Happy Birthday to me... I bought a new gaming Monitor.

    My HDR 4KTV + 1440/144 Gaming Monitor cost $1,050 combined....but I guess if you don't have 2 spaces or PC game at a couch/living room, this makes sense. But yeah, I chose to get an expensive monitor rather than get a new TV, and paid off, cause them early 4KTV's were weak.

    I personally had 23" and opted for the 27" 1440 simply cause 32" 4K was a huge leap. I feel way more comfortable and happy about it, cause now I've been at 27" 1440 for so long, that in a couple years when "I need a new monitor" (need, psh, I have the last 4 monitors I had, all still work, although HDMI-less monitors are becoming obsolete around here, just like the old weak 19"ers and fat backs.)

    When the time comes, I'll get me a big old 32" HDR 4K 144hz monitor, and put my 27" in other room, cause chances are I'll be getting an Ultra Wide just cause....I'm just gonna wait til they are $500, cause that fits my profile, time frame and budget.

    Xbox one S 1440p 120hz Problem

    looking at that monitor it will probably only do 1440 at 60 on hdmi and 1440 at 144 over display port.

    max you most likely will get over hdmi is 1440 60 or 1080 at 120.

    I have a 3900x, plenty IMO, and I'm not trying for 4k, and don't expect it as I have a 1440 monitor! 1440 is not 4k.

    Xbox Series S 2K at 120hz with HDMI 2.0

    most tv's dont support 1440 and 120, so a monitor is a good choice, the monitor needs to support 1440 res and will only do 120hz over hdmi.

    hdmi 2.1 is backward compatable so you should be ok.

    Google this problem - lots of people are having this issue. Microsoft advertises that you can run 120fps @1440 resolution on xbox one S if you have a monitor that supports that resolution. I also have a monitor that supports 144fps @ 1440 and it is a combination
    that is unselectable. We need a REAL solution.
