1409 Preview Update Forum now available

New August Preview Update 1409 ? where is it...?

Who said it was released? Because it isn't just yet. If you are in the preview programme only a few have 1409 at the moment.

1408 is the August update, 1409 is Septembers.

I have both updates on 2 consoles, won't get 1409 on the other untill it's rolled out to more or all preview users.

I thought the friends tab was in this preview?

 

the friend's tab is only available to a select few participants still. it isn't for all currently.

 

It's odd, I've got one 1409 console with no friends tab, and one with 1408 with the friends tab.

 

I heard they were have big problems with it too.

 

yeah it's a doozie for sure.

 

Ahh well, wish they would communicate better to us testers. I find out more coming here then I do from xbox dash or email. Considering the forums are not monitored officially seems a bit backward.

Is getting better tho, the quests and surveys help but had to come here to find out that there are different preview builds within the same code (1408 / 1409)

 

If anyone has it in them to invite me into the program, I'd be very appreciative....

 

Hy, since the 1409 update I' have no more xbox live, when I tested my wifi connection, I've got :

NAT : Open

Multiplayer connection : more than 70% packets lost

Before the update all was fine.

Some have an idea for that ?

me n my mate have been having a bad time with latency aswell so not sure, i noticed it the other day when bf4 became unplayable, i was stuck in glue if it would even connect at all, then checked my network and had a 500m/s latency, reset all my gear and
hard wired my xb1 and it is still at 200m/s. My mate has the same but his is just about playable mines not bad now its lower but its still so damn high for the connection i have it takes me back to my 56k days on half life mods lol

 

I've had 1409 for last few days but not lucky enough to get the friends tab either.

 

^^ The friends tab like 1409 is going out in waves. It appears(small sample size using my friends) those with the friends tab have not received 1409 yet, and those without the friends tab have received 1409. That may not be entirely accurate, but everyone
I have spoken too it holds true. If you do have both I am jelly.
