I know about the minimum N7, but if what you say is true, what about 24's link above explaining the max limit of 16 GB? 24, is that 16 total or 16 per HDD?

 

16TB, not 16GB.

Don't think we need to worry about it. You'd need something like a Drobo 5D plugged into the console, filled with five 4TB or greater HDDs with no parity or mirroring protection.

 

So glad I'm in the preview programme, got my 6tb hdd waiting had no memory since titanfall had to delete dr3 to male room for wolfenstein so happy will now have room for keeping up my collection off owning every xbox one game

 

all that matters is if we do have 16TB in our console and that is the max then the xbox one has the biggest hard drive storage of any console

It's 16TB per drive, with a maximum of two drives connected at one time, making for a maximum storage capacity of 32.5TB - or, to put it another way, that's 65 times greater than what we currently have.

I need this external hard drive bad, with ever new game I get I have to take 2 off my hard drive

 

Will large memory Usb thumb drives work? Or external hd only?

 

You need to have usb 3.0 and minimum 256 GB JJ

 

JJ, I believe just hdd. There is a 250 gb minimum for the device, and I believe it has to be USB 3.0, also.

 

I have the 1406 update and everything looks cool except when I go to manage my storage all the text is scrambled and doesn't show alphabet letters. It still looks like what its saying but its all in french, german, greek etc. I hope this is just because
it's early release and it shouldn't be a problem in the main update
