I coulda swore MS said June 6th just before E3 for the update to go public

 

i think i will get the 4tb seagate for £150

 

I can't find what changes are coming but I'm realy waiting for some REAL wireLESS headsets. Or just a supportt of my logitech f540 to connect the station with the xbox one over usb. It's working with ps3 and 4 wireless but on xbox you always have to put
an cable to the controller!! I'm not prevering the playstation but real wireless headsets.... thats just a nice feature. Please like this comment when you want a change in this fact. And sry for my bad english.

 

It has since been updated by Microsoft that 16tb per hard drive is the max. You can have two drives.

 

I have a 3TB external that's just been waiting for this.

I've already only got about 45GB left on my XB1 HDD and that's going to get eaten up by Watchdogs. When GwG starts, for the XB1, I'm really going to need that external drive.

 

We can have many drives as we want, just only 2 can be plugged in at one time.

I'll only be using 1 to start my back catalog.

 

@Kingvas its the beta version. If you are in the early access program you should've received a Live message stating it will roll out in a few days. I can define a few days several different ways, but that doesn't matter, what matters is MS definition of
a few days. So look for it sometime next week.

 

I believe support for HDD max will be to 2Tb cause Fat 32 is limited for this bit if Xbox One use FatX or NTFS or maybe Ext2 than this will able to use GPRD Partitions to HDD with 4Tb or max. Well if this be limited to 2Gb this is fine cause van use tão
HDD to backup all games.

And will be an good idea expand Xbox 360 to use any HDD inside consoles instead that produced Microsoft Only this will do Piracy going down.

 

If the maximum is only 2TB per HDD, then that's just awful (and I doubt that'll be the case). However, if the max is 16TB per HDD, then that's pretty darn good and I could live with that.

 

I doubt the minimum would be 2TB when they showed us a vid that had 2 4TB externals connected with a bit over 7TB available on screen. No reason for them to show us that and then not let us use it.

 

Major Nelson was also advertising the 4TB HDD he had installed on his X1. I had heard no limit, so can the people who say it's been updated to 16TB point me to this info? Not like it really matters for me, anyways, as I should be fine with a 1 or 2 TB HDD.
