14 day Xbox live gold won't work

I redeemed my 14 day xbox live code and now it won't let me play any games online at all can anyone help? Said the code was redeemed successfully but doesn't work at all and I would like to use it before it runs out

Hi there,

be sure to check https://account.microsoft.com/services to see if there are any issues showing there

If all is good please try the following

- please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait until the power supply light turns and remains orange for at least 30 seconds before powering on again:
Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

If that didn't help try removing your profile, powercycle your console again and then download the profile again

If all fail then you can try to contact Xbox Support to see if they can do a more in-depth check to see what could be causing it. To contact Xbox Support use

I redeemed the Xbox live gold trial for 14 days and I tried to play online cod ww2 and fortnite with friends and it wouldn't work it said I'm not aloud to play online what wrong

Xbox live trials only give you limited access to some xbox live gold features.

Some games wont let you play online with a trial,you would need a full gold subscription.

Er...my question is that a 'xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial codes' could be used/sold as 'xbox game pass 14 days trial code' or 'xbox gold live 14 days trial code', right?

I understand that a xbox game pass 14 days trial code or a xbox live gold 14 days trial code can't be used/sold as xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial code for sure.

Because a 'xbox games pass ultimate 14 days trial code' equals a 'xbox game pass 14 days trial code + xbox live gold 14 days trial code', so for new Microsoft/Xbox accounts, a 'xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial codes' could be used/sold as 'xbox game
pass 14 days trial code' or 'xbox gold live 14 days trial code' , right?

Please help to clarify.

Hi there,

only a standard Xbox Live Gold subscription will allow you to get a Game with Gold for free. a 14 day trial is like the name mentions a Trial subscription and won't allow you to get a 360 Games with Gold game for free, you will require a standard Xbox Live
Gold subscription for that.
