    14 day trial code doesn't seem to work...


    Happy new year everyone,

    A few days ago I entered the 14 day trial code for Xbox Live Gold which was included in the Xbox One Standard Kinect bundle. The Xbox asked me to confirm, but apparently the Gold status isn't active. How can I see If I'm a Gold member. The app Zattoo does't
    work (I am not able to log in, it shows me wrong username or password). At least I can play the Multiplayer beta of Halo 5, but I think this is possible without Gold. I also have a 2 day trial code for Xbox Live Gold from the Halo Master Chief Collection,
    but before I use this Code, I would like to know what this 14 day trial means.

    14 day trial doesn't work

    Keep in mind that trials don't change your account status to gold. They just allow you access to some benefits of online multiplayer. So to make sure it's working, try playing online. Some trials will only work with the game they came with and they won't
    work with all game modes.

    I redeemed a 14 day trial card for Xbox gold and it didn't work so I waited about 10 minutes tried it again and it still didn't work.What do I do to get it working?

    14 day trial code doesn't seem to work...

    Gold trials will not change your account status to gold. They just give you access to some aspects of online multiplayer. So if you're able to play online, then it's working.

    Also, whether it's already been redeemed or not, you should not post codes on the forums. Anyone could steal it.

    A trial code does not grant full access to all Gold features but only limited. The fact that you can play the multiplayer beta proves that the code is working as you do require a Gold or trial membership to play it.

    It seems as though the Zattoo service requires a username and password for use. If it is telling you that your username and password are incorrect then that is something you should take up with their website.

    Hello @TKill777,

    It seems the code you entered was a 14-day trial code. Have you checked the box to make sure you have entered all the codes that came with your console? As usually with Digital games you get a card with the games download code and a 14-day trial.

    It's possibly you just missed the code for the game somewhere and only entered the 14-day trial code.

    Please bear in mind Xbox Gold trials does not stack to each other. If you redeemed a 14 day trial code then redeem a 2 day code it will remove the 14 day trial code. Have you redeemed other codes besides the 14 day trial?

    What happens to my trial period if I upgrade to Gold?

    Trial codes do not stack. So if you want to use all of the 14 days, you would need to use the trial and then use the subscription after the trial ends. Otherwise, the gold code will overwrite the 14 day code.

    Trial codes are usually either 48 hours, 7 days, or 14 days. Keep in mind that trials do not change your account status to gold and will only give you access to some benefits of online multiplayer. Some codes will also only work with the games they came
    with.
