14 day code not working on 360 but is on One

I am trying to move save info from the old 360 to the One for the kids account. I have gold, he uses family plan on One. We entered a 14 day code for him and he now has access to gold on the One but the 360 prompts to buy gold plan. We just want to get his
Borderlands 2 saves (and others) moved to the cloud but can't do it with other accounts - it has to be his account that does the actual copy to cloud. Please help.

14 day Live Gold trial code not working

Y'day I purchased new XBox One. With this I got 14 day Live Gold trial code. But its not working it always says its already redeemed.

Can some one help me on this?

 

XBox wont recognize my Gold time

I recently ran out of time and have been using a 14 day trial on my 360. It was under my assumption that gold follows you over to xbox one, but it appears to not be the case. I just bought my ONE today and have set up what I need, but I have yet to connect
as my current 14 day is not working and the other other code I put in also will not let me access live. Keep in mind that the codes DO work, but I'm not being given to any Gold features such as multiplayer/ Parties or even Netfix.

 

Also, we entered the code on the 360. Received success/congrsts message on the 360. Yet it still prompts to buy gold subscription. He has full gold access on the One though - not using family plan (we have two Ones and family plan only works on a single
console so we are able to test his gold access on the non-family One).

 

Trials do not change your account status to gold. He would need an actual gold subscription in order to move his saves to the cloud.

 

As Smwutches alludes to, a 14-day Gold card is considered a "trial" subscription. The minimum for a full Xbox Live Gold membership, which would include the ability to access cloud saves, is one month; there are also three and twelve month cards available.
