13 Month Gold Membership Dissapeared, Can't Add New 12 Month Code

hey everyone my gt is , and for the last couple weeks I've been experiencing some difficulties renewing my account.

first I was up for Auto renew at the end of july(3-month) so I decided to get a 12 month card instead. So I bought 12+1 month gold card and tried entering code on Xbox one subscription page but kept getting denied. Then I went to Xbox.com like I use to and
code went in perfect. Checked subscription page on Xbox one and had 13 months of gold, awesome.

Now its August, and my wife tells me she just got charged for 3-Month auto renew of Xbox Live Gold. So I check dashboard and Microsoft Commerce and My 13 month redemption is no where to be found. So I chat with support and they check my accounts health(I've
been a member for 10yrs and never heard of that) but its good and it doesn't appear to have ever been applied. OK so I thought *** I threw the card/code out and wasted 60$.

Now its 2-3 days later Aug21st and my brand new 12 month card from Microsoft came(another 60$). So I crack it open and scratch it off and enter it on my Xbox one and now I'm getting error messages. This time I documented everything.

Error Message is

Something went wrong, Xbos-0x80169cf9

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it

Xbox live 12+1 month ?

Hi I got for my son Xmas 12 +1 month live gold membership, We have about 1 and a half month gold membership left so when do I enter new code And will it just add 13 months onto our current membership? Thanks Adam

The article for that error code says that you will need to wait for your subscription to end before adding the prepaid card -

Since this is a billing issue, you will want to try contacting support again to see if there is anything they can do.

I think you are talking about the Xbox Live 12+1 (13) Month Gold Membership and it Includes Halo 4 Corbulo Emblem. It Looks Like This,

When you look at the back there should be (2) Codes. One code is for the
Xbox Live 12+1 (13) Month Gold Membership And the Second code should be for the
Halo 4 Corbulo Emblem. You do not get the Xbox Live 12+1 (13) Month Gold Membership And the
Halo 4 Corbulo Emblem All rolled into one Xbox Live Code. There should be "Two" Xbox Codes on the back, Can you look at the Product again.

But is wasteful.since gold.is included in xgu

Prepaid.gold get turned into gamepass ultimate for 13 months not.1.month of.ultimate.and 12.months ot gold.

And if you buy a subscription you upgrade the stack

They do tell you that it gets upgraded along with the new renewal date which he should've paid attention to

Along with the warning if he cancels he forfeits the prepaid time

If you add the Gold first (while not having an Ultimate subscription) and then add Ultimate, it will be converted at a ratio of 1:1. So if you add 12 months of Gold and then 1 month of Ultimate, you'll have 13 months of Ultimate.

If you already have Ultimate and add 12 months of Gold to that, it will convert to 4 months of Ultimate.

The Gold is converted to Ultimate. So if you have 12 months of Gold and add 1 month of Ultimate, you end up with 13 months of Ultimate.
