13 hours and only 57% completed on digital download

Hello. So, I've had this issue in the past with having really slow download times...but this one is just ridiculous. I have ARK: Survival Evolved and I bought it's dlc Scorched Earth yesterday at 3:30 pm. Ark had to update, the update is 23GB. I said okay,
I'm going to go eat and sleep and it will be done in the morning...no. Only halfway. I haven't even gotten to the dlc download because the update is taking so long. It's 1.70mg/s, and I know there's a thing about internet speed...but my internet speed is about
19mg/s. this is awful, it's taken all of Friday and it's going to take most of Saturday just for a simple 23GB update. Aything I can do?

(I've connected my xbox to my enthernet because I heard wireless was slower)

How to start a rented download movie?

I was able to watch 57% of the movie before it stopped. I expected to finish watching it after the completed download but it never completed the download and of course the time limit ran out because once you start watching the movie you have a limited time
to do so, not the 13 days before starting the movie.

I will not be paying for downloaded or streaming movies through Xbox Video in the future.

Maybe 50%.

I had about 13 hours total play-time once completed. I don't know how much of the side-quests I completed was though.

Hey, unfortunately, the speed from your ISP is often times higher than the download speed for downloading games on Xbox, and there's only so much you can do about it. When you download games it's very likely that the server from which the file is downloaded
fluctuates and changes location, which would result in slower download speeds. Also, download speeds are in large part dependent on the speed of Microsoft's severs, and depending on how many people are downloading from their servers at once, the speed could
be very slow due to the load on the server. Again, there's not much you can do aside from increasing the speed of your ISP.

troubleshooting slow download speeds. It's not a guarantee that the issue will be fixed/resolved however there may be steps there you haven't tired yet.

We've tried to install the Orange Box and it freezes at 57% then will not complete the download.

I have the same problem - download speeds are awful. The only way I found to increase the speed was to pause the download, and then in-pause it again every so often - it would at least treble the download speed.

My experience of this was from a brand new Xbox One, downloading Gears 4. Cabled connection to my router, 80MB fibre service. I still have this issue now, and that on updates to anything I have installed.

The only thing I haven't tried is dropping my Xbox One IP address into my DMZ. Might be worth a shot for you; you wouldn't have to set up port forwarding.
