12M Xbox Live Code can't be used

i got the code in bout December or November, and still can't use it... it always recognize that code, but after clicking to redeem the code, it says, "something went wrong" - try it later again... *pfff*

tried it actually again, Error Code is:

btw, tried it now directly on my xbox - the error code changed into Error Code:

XboxSubsribtionMaxDuration

my xbox live membership is paid till 12th October 2019...

Problem with Xbox live Gold suscription and renewal

Hi all,

I had activated a auto-renewal with PayPal (month to monht)....

On May 21 I have redeemed a prepaid code for a 12 months Gold suscription.

But today (June 1) my PayPal was charged again...

I have checked and my automatich renewal is off.

What happened? Also... now I can't remove my paypal payment option because said that is used for "Xbox LIVE Gold: Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold"... how it's possible? I have already paid for the "prepaid 12M"... because of that is "prepaid".... !

Hi there

you can only add subscriptions to a max of 36 months in the future, which is why you can't add the 12M since your current subscription ends at 12th Oct 2019, when adding a year if will be more then 36 months from now.

That is the reason for the error code. You'll have to wait until adding that won't result in 36 months in the future, so in this case it is best to try and redeem again in Novembter 2017.

is it new, that u can only store 36 months Xbox Live on ur account? didn't notice it in the past... :-/
