    12M Gold Prepaid Card Issue


    When I try to redeem my card, I get this:

    This error message occurs when you have an active subscription but auto renewal is turned off, and the payment option used to purchase that subscription is no longer associated with it or has been removed from your account.

    I understand that I can use the code once my subscription is over. My big question though is, if I redeem it when it's up, will I lose my current "8 years" counter that I have associated with my account? Will that be reset if I let my current run expire
    before redeeming this new code?

    I checked my gold tenure on the link eG x Thee Elf posted and mine says

    Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold this one isn't canceled

    Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold canceled

    Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold canceled

    gold 1 month free trial canceled

    but yet I have no number next to my name

    When you add time on the website there is a delay before it shows up on the console. It can last hours, but you can speed up the process by either testing your connection or recovering your account.

    No. Tenure does not reset. It won't show if you revert to silver, but will come back after you add a new subscription.

    And yes, the prepaid card is 12M. (IT EVEN SAYS THAT TOO) and it was redemmed not even three months ago, probably less.
