    Hey, i hope someone can help me.So recently i buy new monitor LG 34GL750 Gaming-Monitor 2560-1080 144hz And i cant put 120hz whatever i try. When i put it on 120hz it start to flicker like 10 seconds and it returns again on 60hz.

    You will need the Xbox Series X for 4K 120hz. The Series S can only do 1440p 120hz

    1440 @120hz or 4K HDR @60hz

    Altough the Xbox One X supports 1440 and 120Hz, games are not going to run on 120Hz, console is not prepared for that yet.

    So my best advice is to go for 4K HDR if your monitor supports it, and when the Series X is released, you will be able to use 1440/120Hz!

    Sorry for not clearing things up, but i enable 120hz. Now im on 120hz on xbox one x, and fortnite looks amazing.

    Can't choose 4K/120HZ in the menu with Hisense U8H TV on Xbox X.

    Microsoft's prior console, the Xbox One X only has HDMI 2.0. Full 120Hz at 4K requires HDMI 2.1 which that Xbox does not have.

    HDMI 2.0 does not have the bandwidth for 120Hz at 4K. In any case, there are no games on the older Xbox One X that run at 120Hz (or 120fps). There is enough bandwidth for 1440P at 120Hz, which is why you select this from the menu.

    Like you've said, your PC graphics card has HDMI 2.1 which is why you can use 120Hz with this connected your TV.

    120Hz at 1440p

    For the Xbox one X you have to choose one or the other reguardless of the monitors specs. Either 1080p at 120hz or 1440p at 60hz. The Series X thats coming in November will support 4k at 120hz at the same time. đź‘Ť
