    Hi everyone, I ran my series X off of a Samsung odyssey G7 which is rated for 4k 144hz and it was able to output 120fps just fine. I wanted to connect an hdmi 2.1 splitter to be able to transition back and forth between my monitor and tv (basic 4k 60hz Vizio). I bought a rocketfish hdmi 2.1 splitter from BestBuy, and 2 acer hdmi 2.1 cables from Amazon but now I’m only getting 4k 60hz on my monitor. All the reviews for both the cables and the splitter said they output 120hz, but I can’t figure out why it’s not for myself. Anyone have any advice for me to get my 120frames to work on the monitor again?

    Xbox doesn't have a 1440p 60FPS option; can't use 1080p or 1440p HDR on xbox

    I just tried to change it to 1440p 60hz, but it says this resolution isn't supported.

    1080p is available to me in 120hz or in 60hz

    4k is available to me in 120hz or in 60hz

    But,1440p is only available in 120hz?

    Monitor with 120hz and VRR

    Does your monitor support both VRR and 120Hz on Xbox? I have read that only specfic monitors out there support both enabled. For awhile the VRR was only supported at 60Hz but there are some monitors now that will allow you to enable both VRR and 120Hz.

    That monitor supports 120hz ONLY at 1080p, and 60hz at 1440p according to the companies website. That would be why you cant select 120hz at 1440p

    1440 @120hz or 4K HDR @60hz

    120hz is gonna be a better setting for you, if you are playing apex or overwatch 144hz would work better but for modern warfare 60hz to 120hz is the best for that.
