120Hz flikkerd op mijn Xbox Series X

When I select AUTO, Allow 4K and YCC 4:2:2. I can't see the "Refresh Rate" button anymore. Only if I set the display to HDMI.

I don't know if my screen supports 120Hz. It is 144Hz 1ms IPS Panel. (Model: LG34GN73A)

Maybe you could search the device and check if it's compatible with the recommended settings to get 120Hz on it.

Please tell me how I can enable the button for refresh rate if I select AUTO.

Hello Nele, try to follow the procedures below.

On Xbox, go to Settings»TV & Display Options»Video Fidelity & Overscam.

On Display set to AUTO.

Go back to the previous screen and go to Video Mode»Select Allow 4k and also Allow YCC 4:2.2.

On your monitor make sure that freesync is enabled.

If after that it issues a message about the FPS, go back to the Xbox settings for the Video Fidelity option and see which of the options fits best, 8-Bit, 10-Bit, etc.

Once this is done you should be able to select the resolution at 1440p and the refresh rate at 120 or 60.

the xbox series x will not allow the OP to select 1440p at 120hz.

OP - the monitor must have proper vesa timings listed in its edid for the xbox to use, if it does not list 1440p 120hz in the edid for hdmi then the xbox will not use it.

You will need the Xbox Series X for 4K 120hz. The Series S can only do 1440p 120hz

The Xbox Series X will do 120Hz but no more, regardless of resolution or monitor.

I would check to see if other Xbox Series X owners have confirmed to achieve 1440p120Hz on those monitors before purchasing.

Maybe a google of "xbox series x 1440p 120hz ___________ " and insert the monitor model to see if people have posted about their monitor and Series X working.
