    I just got a xbox series s i have a 120 hz monitor all done in the settings my 120fps works in fortnite but no other game ive tried cold war and rogue company. Rogue company says enhanced visuals but 120fps is locked and on cold war they just isnt the
    setting for it at all.

    We totally understand that you want to play Fortnite on higher FPS and resolution. However. the Xbox Series S does not support 1440p resolution at 120fps for Fortnite. The maximum resolution supported by the Xbox Series S is 1080p at 120fps. However, you can still enjoy playing Fortnite on your Xbox Series S at 1080p and 120fps.

    You are thinking of 1440p at 144hz Vvr with Ray tracing off

    Only ps5 (same hardware on digital or disk)

    And Xbox series x

    Xbox One S does not support 120Hz. Only Xbox Series S and X support 120Hz, and 120fps is available in select games, including Fortnite.

    series s will struggle on demanding games to keep 60fps at 1080p. the series x will struggle to keep 60fps at 4k thats for sure. the series x will be ok at 120fps at 1080 and most likely 1440.

    It's because the Series S/X are new gen. They require the xbox SSD. You are using an HDD. SSD's are way faster than an SSD, the series s is trying to run the 120fps and higher graphics. Thats why they are telling you to move the games. It wants you to play them on the internal SSD storage.
