12 Month Xbox Live Code From Card Not Working

No one at support seems to want to help. Spent 2hrs on Thursday night with Alistair, on support chat, said he would take care of and send me emails so I didn't have to contact support again, and that has not materialized as of Saturday morning.

On Wednesday I purchased two 12 month xbox live codes from a Foodland grocery store in Ontario. When I go to enter the code in I get an error message thats says the following;

"KQMACDpTNkWdtT0e.4.0.6.12

2018/09/15 - 13:35:19 UTC"

They tried entering the code on their end and it didnt work. Then after a very long period of time, they agreed they would give us the 12 month sub on their end, and they ended up having the same issue. Alistair assured me he would email me so I wouldnt
have to contact support again, but no email. Still on SAturday I am getting the same error message. And I now feel in order to get my son and my daughter a 12 month subscription I need to buy straight through the console, and I am going to be out not just
the $139.98 I spent on the cards but the $10 or so per sub in taxes that is charged through the Xbox store.





So I am at a loss as to what to do next?

Never heard of either of these places... always a little sketch to do it.

EDIT: Seems it went up to 43$ now.

 

Xbox live 48hr trial

I'd stay away from it. If you already have a Gold membership, I don't think it will work for you anyways. The 48 hour codes come in a lot of games, and I've never heard of anyone selling them. A 3 or 12 month card, yeah, but not a 48 hour code. It's not really worth much of anything. Also if you give him money, and he give you a code, who is to say that the code will even be good? If you don't have Xbox Live Gold and want to try it out, I'd suggest just paying for a month on the marketplace or getting a 3 month card at the store.

 

Only thing i can think of is contacting support once more.

 

Do you currently have a subscription that is paid for by credit/debit/bank/paypal here?

https://account.microsoft.com/services/ If so, you will need to wait until that expires (cancel auto renew and wait until it's gone) so you can use the prepaid cards. Those two membership types can NOT stack.

Otherwise, if you see an amount in red with "pay now" next to it, you must pay that before you can buy new membership or redeem any codes.

They actually can stack the only thing that can not be done is if your current recurring subscription is past due or the auto renew is currently off it will not allow you to enter a code in.

normally if your past due on a sub it will give you an error of something happened on our end waiting a bit might help.

but if it was past due xbox support should have been able to see that and tell you that so you may want to make sure your auto renew is not turned off
