    12 Month Xbox Live code card not working.


    Bought a 12 Month Xbox Live Gold Code Card at a brick and mortar store.

    Tried entering it on my, Xbox 360, Xbox 1, 2 different PC's (using both Chrome & Edge), my Android phone. Keeps saying, "There is an error, please try again later."



    I chatted with a Microsoft Support Rep and she said that it is a known problem that is affecting a few users. Her solution/advice was:

    1. Wait a little while.

    2. Re-enter the code.

    3. If problem persists, go to Step 1.



    She stated that there is no ETA on when this issue will be resolved and also didn't know how long it has been a problem.

    My current Gold hasn't expired yet, but it will soon. I spent $60 and I will be pretty upset if the issue isn't resolved by then.



    I will update if anything changes.

    Never heard of either of these places... always a little sketch to do it.

    EDIT: Seems it went up to 43$ now.

    Got exactly the same problem, cannot redeem the 12 months live code.

    Same here - trying since 2 days and tried everything with a prepaid Card - no Support here in AUSTRIA?? Tried at my XOne and got something like invalidPurchaseID?????

    I watched the video and tried to redeem the gift card that way and it will work but what I would like to do considering Xbox Live for 12 months is on sale right now is use this gift card for that but when I go to the Microsoft store and I click on deals
    and redeem a code for the 12-month membership at the discounted price at tells me that their code is not found, although it does work the other way which is the 6-month option but I'm aiming for the 12-month

    Had same issues as well on console, trying to activate new 12 month card and getting status code 80070057. Went on xbox live account on computer, entered code and worked like a charm.
