12 Month Xbox Live and Gamepass Ultimate?

So i redeemed a 12 month xbox live card today 1/2/2020 and it show's it runs out on 5/15/2020 even though i used a 12 month card why does it run out in four month's?

No. If you already had xbox live gold then when you add an xbox gamepass ultimate subscription (which includes Xbox live gold) it upgrades your existing Xbox live gold subscription to gamepass ultimate (hence why your gold subscription "disappeared")

So lets say for example before you added the gamepass ultimate subscription you had 6 months of xbox live gold left. When you added the 6 month gamepass code youd essentially now have 12 months of gamepass ultimate in this above example.

it will convert gold to 4 months gamepass ultimate, if you want the gold for the full 12 months let the gamepass ultimate expire first.

I did this last year, i bought 1 month of gamepass and 12 months of gold live and i got 13 months of game pass ultimate
