    12 Month XBOX Gold Card with CA at the top


    Week before Christmas I bought an XBOX Live Gold card on Amazon. The card arrived but it has ''CA'' on the face of the card and in small print on the back, it reads that it is ''Valid for use in Canada''. I live in the US, is this why when we tried to
    activate it, it says it's an invalid Key....

    12 month subscriptions are not available through Xbox. There are 12 month prepaid cards for Gold sold in retailers. I'm not sure if there are 12 month cards available for Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate.

    Do you have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription? If you had a prepaid gold or game pass code on top of that subscription, the code will extend your subscription, but at a conervsion rate. A 12 month gold card would have been added as 4 months of Ultimate.

    Are you sure it was a 12 month Ultimate and not 12 months of Gold? As I don't believe there are 12 month Ultimate cards. But if you had an active Ultimate subscription and bought a12 month Gold card, the Gold would have been converted to Ultimate an would have equaled 4 months of Ultimate.
