12 Month Gold card (This code has already been used)!

So I was given a 12 month Live gold scratch off subscription code card for Christmas. I had just renewed my subscription in November 2015(it expires Dec 1st 2016 now). So I stuck it with some extra $25 xbox scratch off gift cards to use closer to the renewal
date. Yesterday I saw something I wanted to buy so I was putting in a couple $25 gift cards, 1st one went fine second gave me an odd error after showing it was for $25 and then confirming. Tried again it said that $25 had been used so I check and it had gone
into the account, everything is good..... So I decide well I might as well throw my 12 month gold card on since it stacks and I am in here anyways. So I scratch off the silver stuff type in the code and It comes back

"This code has already been used"

So I think maybe it is a glitch like before try again, same results, confirm under my subscriptions, it did not apply still set to expire Dec 1, 2016. So I try entering it on the console itself same thing again..."This code
has already been used". I go online and look around for some help or ideas, a full console restart and nothing works. I go to xbox.com and schedule a call back spend an hour and a half on the phone with support and learn the code shows that it was used May
28th 2016, support guy thinks maybe I used it on the wrong account on that date, but I just scatched and revealed the code. He send some verifyme codes to the account that used my code and I don't get them, after some discussion I am told only recourse is
going back to the retailer my mom bought the card from. This was an Amazon retailer back in November 2015, think there is much chance this is going to matter to them? I am passed to an elevated customer support contact go through everything with him, he says
he will check further, I am basically out of time and need to be somewhere now so he promises he will call me back... Have not heard a word, missed a call, or they have not left a voicemail or email me.. Guess I am out of luck someone, somehow, used my unscratched
xbox live gold 12 month code but Microsoft can do nothing about it. Great customer support for someone that has been a gold member since the beginning. I think I know why so many people when to PSN this time around!

Didn`t receive my 12 Months of Xbox Gold

I redeemed a 12 Month Prepaid Xbox Gold Card but didn`t receive the service, it says ``code has already been used``

(already talked to Xbox support on Twitter and was referred here)

 

Code says valid but is not working

I bought a 12 month gold card and when I put the code in it tells me it's already been used... How do I get my gold membership

Sorry to hear about the issue. Unfortunately if you attempted to redeem the code and it says it was already used, you will have to reach back out to Amazon for further assistance.
