12 month Gold and Ultimate

So my Ultimate gamepass ends in 3 days from now, i just Bought a 12 month Live Redeem Card...... I tried Redeeming it now and it said it will Convert into 4 months of GamePass Ultimate?? Uh why is that, didnt give me a Option To Just Have the 12 months Gold,
Thats not even Half of the 12 Months, ? Whyy,

I dont want to redeem my 12 month if im just gan get 4 months Basically..... i understand that 4 months is Vauled as the 12 but just wanting the 12 stead of the 4

Do i just wait for the Ultimate to end?
