May I ask why Microsoft told users the 12 Month Games with Gold subscription would not be changing but never readded option for subscription? As has been mentioned on other threads, only the more expensive 1 and 3 month options are available. Can you confirm if one buys a code that Xbox will even recognize a subscription plan not officially offered?

Most people buy prepaid codes as they tend to be on sale more often thegold memberships

If you watch your retailers or etailera they are frequently on sale

I usually stack my memberships when they are on sale

You cant do that with autorenewal

Yes. Microsoft stated that retail codes will still be accepted and anyone who still has the 12-month subscription will continue the 12-month subscription.
