12 Month card not working

    12 Month card not working


    I got a 12 Month Gold prepaid card and I can't redeem it. When I enter it in on my XBox One and xbox.com, the "This is a 12 month card, would you like to redeem" message pops up, but when I click redeem, I get a messsage comes up asking me to try later.
    Is the redeeming down? Or is it because I'm using the free month that came with the system?

    It shouldn't be a billing problem. Never had a card on file, and I don't have any payments.

    I've purchased a £59.99 xbox one 12 month gold card last weak. I redeemed the code clicked enter. But i still have no gold. ive tried everything. I
    took it back the shop. I told them was hapening. The shop assistent and the store manager said that it will definitely work. I tried redeeming the code again but i had no success. When i returned to the store the next day. With the gold card they then
    said they can't do anything if the code has already been scratched. So my question is who can i contact regarding the situation ? HELP any body

    Sorry to hear it. Please log in to account.microsoft.com and click on services and subscriptions to see if you have a membership added there. If it is not then you may have accidentally added it to another account.

    You should give phone support a call for more assistance in either case. Please click this link to get the number for your region Customer Support

    So let me recap, you enter the code on both your Xbox & Xbox.com, and both are telling you to try again later?

    Does any other sort of error message pop up, or do you get an Error Code at all? Is it still happening now?

  5. Wait a few hours and try again. If it continues to do that, delete your system cache on your xbox one. If it has that, I don't know.

    You can also try deleting your browser history/cache and such, that helps me sometimes if I'm having a problem doing something on a site.

    If it continues, you might have to contact Xbox support. Might I suggest using their twitter page here:

    Wait a few hours and try again. If it continues to do that, delete your system cache on your xbox one. If it has that, I don't know.

    You can also try deleting your browser history/cache and such, that helps me sometimes if I'm having a problem doing something on a site.

    I watched the video and tried to redeem the gift card that way and it will work but what I would like to do considering Xbox Live for 12 months is on sale right now is use this gift card for that but when I go to the Microsoft store and I click on deals
    and redeem a code for the 12-month membership at the discounted price at tells me that their code is not found, although it does work the other way which is the 6-month option but I'm aiming for the 12-month

    Yes and no. The card will convert to Ultimate, but not for 12 months. A 12 month gold card will be converted to 4 months of Ultimate per the conversion rate in the FAQ.
