    11/25 update failing to download


    My xbox is trying to download a 333 megabyte update but keeps failing. I have tried both wireless and wired but still got the same results. I went through all the troubleshooting and it said my xbox was broken but it still works it just won't allow me to
    go online because of the broken update.

    Console Updates - last 25% takes forever!

    Hi all,

    I have a strange issue when downloading updates. The last 25% takes an absolute lifetime to download for some reason. It's always 25% too, as soon as it's 75% it downloads at snails pace.

    I've checked my download speeds on my laptop on a wired connection the same as my xbox and nothing changes. I'm running at around 130130-140 mb downloads and 11-12 mb upload.

    Any ideas what the issue is and how I resolve it?

    Hi Sorry for much delayed reply.

    The problem I had seems to have resolved itself after 12hrs.

    It seemed to be a problem on the the service itself...

    Hey there. What all troubleshooting did you try? This issue can usually be fixed by holding the Xbox logo on the console until it shuts down, then unplugging the power cord from the back for 5 minutes, and then trying again.

    Dashboard update (10-11-11) fail.

    I FINALLY managed to get the update through, but not through USB or disk. For anyone that is having this problem, when you disable your firewall, also disable your WPS/WEP. You basically can't have anything related to protection during downloading. Hope
