    ..........

Hello everyone 1080p movie on a 4K TV, how does it look like? :)

    .........

I don't have a 4K TV (I'm still at 1080p) yet and I was wondering if someone could answer the following question for me 1080p movie on a 4K TV, how does it look like? :)

    .........

I just recently upgraded my Monster High movie collection from DVD to Blu-ray, what does the picture quality of a 1080p movie look like when its being displayed on a 4k TV?

    .........

The reason that I'm asking this is because playing a DVD then displaying it on a 1080p TV has horrible picture quality. Will a 1080p movie being displayed on a 4k TV look horrible too?

    ..........

Thank you very much for your feedback, I really appreciate it 1080p movie on a 4K TV, how does it look like? :)

Have a nice day or afternoon or night everyone 1080p movie on a 4K TV, how does it look like? :)

    Xbox One S HDR Bug

Havent read up on answers on this but its a easy fix. Just set the Xbox one S at 1080p and to enable 4k from Apps n disc. This turns off HDR going from a movie to the dash.

And looks better as Xbox S upscales to 4k on games worse than a good tv does itself.

  3. Standard Xbox on 4K HDR TV

    Hi,

If you're wondering if the picture will look better, as in sharper, then the answer to that would be a definite no. Will it look worse? Well, that really depends on the TV rather than the Xbox and how
well your TV scales 1080P resolution on the 4K display.

Regardless of 4K display, if you hook up a 1080P console to it, it will display in 1080P, indeed, the TV will drop to this resolution. I have the One X, so my enhanced games will play natively in 4K and
look great automatically. I do also use a Nintendo Switch on my 4K TV and it scales really well at lower resolutions.

As long as you buy a decent branded model, it should scale fine.

1080p movie on a 4K TV, how does it look like?

1080p looks amazing on 4K (was skeptical as well when I upgraded) - I honestly can't tell on a 65" between my 4K UHD BR vs. regular BR - except for UHD BR's that have HDR.

It's always comes back to Monster High with you doesn't it? 1080p movie on a 4K TV, how does it look like? :)

If you don't have a 4K TV it will just look like a regular Blu-ray on a 1080p TV. Maybe a little better due you upscaling.

The difference will come when you have 4K Blu-ray's.

But still a lot better than regular DVD's

Configure 4k smart tv to optimize xbox one output

If I'm not mistaking a Xbox One will only go up to 720p and Xbox One S and X will do 4k. I'm not sure how to configure your TV, however yourself can go to the picture settings on your TV and change them to your likings.
    No, that's not correct.

Original Xbox One does 1080P. The Xbox One S can do 4K, but only for Streamed 4K video content and 4K UHD movie discs. You can upscale games to 4K or play them at 1080P without up-scaling on the One S.

The original console's maximum resolution is Full HD, 1080P.

The One X can do the same, with the exception of Enhanced games which will can run in 4K if they have been designed to do so.

A 1080P game image on a 4K TV will have to be scaled down by the display. This may well produce a more pixelated image. You will need to change your display settings on the TV to try to compensate for this.

Game mode adjusts the display settings to remove post processing effects that apply to broadcast media or movies, thus improving how fast images are displayed. It does not affect the sharpness of how graphics are shown on the display.

OMG! I love my Xbox One so much right now :)

    ..........

    Hello everyone :)

    ..........

From what I've noticed, upgrading an old 480p SD movie into 1080p HD has its limitations, but the results of the upgrade are still wonderful :)

A perfect example of this is when I watched The Little Memaid DVD on my 1080p TV and The Little Mermaid Blu-ray on my 1080p TV. The difference was amazing :)

I can't see how an old movie like The Little Mermaid is going to look much different in 4K from 1080p given that it (The Little Mermaid) was made a long, long, long time ago.

Also, resonating on what others have said, the true performance of 4k quality is going to be seen on the movies that are made from 4k to begin with.

We are just getting a taste of 4k with 1080p movies being upgraded into 4K :)

Imagine what a 4K movie is going to look like using 4K optimized recording equipment :)

    ..............

    Hello "iBakez" :)

I am not a fan of the Wii U, I'm so sorry :(

I am looking forward to the following games :)

    (1) Dead Space 4

    (2) Mass Effect 4

    (3) Hitman --> After ALL of the content has been released

    (4) The Walking Dead season 3

The games that I like haven't been released yet (in the case of Hitman, it is still incomplete). I am an Xbox Girl and that is the way it is going to be LOL :)

Also, I was given a Wii Mini as a present from my free babysitting (I was helping out my friends, babysitting is expensive) and I got bored of the Wii Mini in a week.

    ...........

Have a nice day or afternoon or night everyone :)
