    Hi. will watchdogs be in 1080 HD for the xbox one. i have heard that certain games will be in 720 HD.

    They are probably saying full hd because it will be upscaled to 1080

    High fives all around, grats to anyone that says NO to 720p

    Considering there is little difference between 720 and 1080 then who cares. Also, the majority of HD TV's out there owned by consumers dont have 1080.

    .

    And as Myke said, You can get more FPS with 720, which in online gaming, is FAR MORE valuable than just 1080.

    I don't think it's been confirmed yet for Xbox One. I think they're targeting 1080p for PS4, but I'm thinking it will likely be between 720-900p for Xbox.

    I could see watch dogs being 1080p for both consoles. It would make sense why would they favor Ps4. If they're gonna make it 1080p for Ps4 and not Xbox than you're better off just having it for Ps4. (Xbox one owner)

    Personally, I could care less if it's in 1080P or 720P as long as it runs smooth and the graphics aren't tearing/splotchy.

    UbiSoft confirmed today that the PS4 will run at 900p@30fps and the X1 will run 792@30fps.

    Bummed about the 30fps on both consoles. I'm sure it'll still look pretty, or, at least I hope it does.

    Consoles always get the shaft in the graphics department. That's PC's claim to fame. I'm still getting it for my Xbox One though.

    To be honest, I'm not all that surprised it's below 1080p for the console, but it will still be upscaled (better than, say, outputting 720p on a 1080p monitor on a PC with no upscaling) and has custom tailored AA, so I have no doubt it'll look great on both
    consoles.

    It's actually not that bad. They seem to be making a compromise between gameplay and graphics. I can still upload to youtube in HD at least. 720p HD is better then no HD. I have been playing ESO on PC at 1080p and although the graphics are great the gameplay
    is quite bad.

    I would hope that most XBox One games would run in native 1080p at 60fps, which would make sense. And if such a console as XB1 is to claim full support for 4k, it would also mean native 2160p at 60fps. I believe it is possible.

    Either that or do some heavy improvements to the XB1 hardware to make that possible.
