Discus and support 100s of local screenshots potentially missing in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; Has there been a change to length of time local screenshots are available for on the Xbox?     100s of local screenshots potentially missing


    Has there been a change to length of time local screenshots are available for on the Xbox?

    I have my Xbox set to only manually upload screenshots. Sometimes I upload straight away, but some I just take and then go through them later (much later).

    However, I now only seem to have screenshots on my Xbox that are no longer than 28 days old, and I'm not sure if this is a limitation of the "recent captures" or if they've actually been deleted.

    It's there another way to browse the local screenshots / HDD now that File Explorer has been killed?

    The Challenge was to meet a certain score in under a certain amount of time. From your screenshots it seems that you missed the score part of the challenge by 100 points. Are you saying it is impossible to get the required score to complete the challenge?

    just tried again, and on starting the Xbox app, all my screenshots were there. I went to one of my groups, then when I came back to my captures, once again I was told I didn't have any... So fault still outstanding unfortunately. šŸ™

    Most recent screenshot missing on xBox One

    In experience, the Xbox screenshot and then saving it online to the cloud is a hit and miss. I dont rely on it. a few months ago, I remember, almost every screenshot I took was never saved for weeks on top of weeks.

    In the last 2 to 3 months, screenshot system is working again and actually storing them online so I can see them on my PC or mobile app.

    My advice : if some screenshot is really important, save it locally on the Xbox and then upload it to twitter or OneDrive or a USB pen drive. I dont trust the cloud screenshot system on Xbox, because of prior experience.

    Yes, most people in Slovakia/Czech Republic . i have also tried to change local in xbox one system settings but still same problem. Currently im using Slovak local. Also activity feeds in xbox one are not working good, i miss a lot of things there (about
