100% wireless xbox one headset......How long do I have to wait?

Has there been any news by any company on the release of a completely wireless headset for the xbox one? So far the only one I know of is the xp800 and the chat on those headsets are garbage, due to the internal mic. Its a little silly that a system that
has been out for as long as the xbox one cannot support a completely wifeless headset. WTF are you guys doing at Microsoft? Maybe the next system should go back to a joystick and two buttons... It's just frustrating and I doubt that im the first person
to rant about this, or the last.

Anyone else extremely bummed out there's no wireless headset?

I've been doing some research and it appears there's only this type of headset. Microsoft reveals Xbox One headsets aren’t included with base system [updated] I really wanted a wireless headset so the wires don't get tangled
up when I'm playing. I know before I got the wireless headset for my 360 the cables coming from the wired headset would get wrapped up around my hands/wrists/arms while playing because I tend to move my controller around while holding it/while gaming. I hated
the long cords would get wrapped around my srms. How could they not have a wireless headset for the Xbox One? Does anyone recall how long after the 360 launched the wireless headset came about?i got my info about no wireless headset here Microsoft reveals Xbox One headsets aren’t included with base system [updated]

 

What are you wanting the headset for, headset mics have a use, for talking to people, no one in game will ever go, I'm not playing with you, your voice quality is rubbish.

Don't know anyone with the TB, but no one complains at the AG mic.

 

I have the Turtle Beach Stealth 500X... surround sound and 100% wireless and I love the freedom of them.

 

I would boot a team player who couldn't communicate due to poor voice comms, but that's just me....

A friend of mine played Destiny for a short amount of time before they got sick of the game due to its lack of content.

I played a couple of games with them, but we used our Cell Phones to communicate with each other

We have the same Cell Phone Carrier so we get to talk to each other for free LOL

..........

It was really nice to be able to coordinate tactics on the Daily Heroics, plus we have really amazing Cell Phone service so we could hear each other clearly

I am curious were you sitting head leaning to hold the cell phone to your ear or using speakerphone or maybe a ear bud and mic cable.

I am not thrilled with the Xbox chat but talking over a cell phone seems like using the kinect would be a better option but that is just my opinion.

I've never ever used the Kinect and mics for my Xbox experience so I am not familiar with the quality of those things LOL

I was using a mic cable

The volume of our TVs were low enough to hear what was going on in the game while allowing us to hear each other clearly over the chaos going on in the screen LOL

We prioritized being able to hear each other over hearing what was going on in the game

.......

It took a couple of tries, but we eventually found a setting that worked perfectly

........

The best way for me to describe how clearly we were able to hear each other with the sound coming from our TVs is best described by the following

1 = low volume

10 = loud volume

..........

TV volume = 5 / 10

Cable Mic Volume = 10 / 10

...........

So, even with all of the stuff coming from the TV, our voices was way more audible

..........

Keeping in mind that I've never ever used the Kinect and mics, I think that the problem is that players are blasting their TV volumes and trying to talk to each other.

This is not going to happend, so one has to give

Lowering the TV volume is to the bare minimum to hear what is going on screen is the key

If players want to have loud TV volume with loud communications volume, then the two are going to compete with each other; making communications difficult

^ just go into party and use the headset, quality on the One is miles better than the 360....

 

I think the main issue is the kinect is placed at a center low location so either right in line or in front of the TV speakers or in my case on top of my center surround sound speaker so there is no way it is not going to pick up sound that way. Xbox one
does a much better job of scanning out the sound then the 360 does but the reverb in the room seems to be picked up still.

My Xbox 360 and Xbox One are set-up in a private game room so there is no noise in there

.......

When I was playing the Destiny sessions that I mentioned above, the only thing that could be heard on my end was the TV and my voice

Like I said, there is no noise in my private game room

Also, the person that I was playing with didn't have any noise in their surroundings too because it was night time already when we played
