    Hi Guys

    Since the 4th update on the preview program Ive been getting 100% package loss and am unable to host or join co op games of any kind.

    Party chat works fine.

    I have tried several steps including

    Resting router and 5 second off on xbox one.

    Port forwarding is on both incoming and outgoing ports

    Tried upnp which up until the update has worked flawlessly.

    Im with Plus net unlimited Fiber

    XBOX tests sets download 80mb although sometimes it only shows the upload at 15mb

    Latency is also shown at 154ms but again it sometimes isn't shown.

    router Technicolor TG582n FTTC

    Wired connection.

    About to power off router for 5 minutes along with xbox unplugged as per ambassadors instructions.

    even when all shows up latency, download and 0% package loss it still will not connect to another game and within minutes its hitting 100% again.

    Any help really appreciated.

    Same issue. 100% Packet loss. No packet loss from my PC. Wireless connection via my Xbox one. Has been working fine just 10 hours ago. Tried it today: 100% packet loss.

    100% packet loss

    That router has very poor ratings. From everything that I read it appears that you are not going to have anything but trouble with that device. Is there anyway that you could exchange it for a better router? Sorry this is probably not what you want to
    hear but the ISP furnished devices are generally very poor quality and are typically on good for supplying their basic service.

    That being said you need to make sure that you are running the most current firmware.

    Ive never had a single issue with the router from day 1, the issues with package loss literally started after the 4th preview program update.

    Firmware is fully updated.

    That is great news. Apparently, your experience has been much better than most.

    If you are in the preview program you should probably post in the preview forums to better be served and reporting of the issue.

  7. I'm surprised you had any luck with that router in the past , that brand (Technicolor) is known as almost incompatible with xbox , whatever the last update did (windows 10 drivers most likely) it exposed it ......

    Ok I spoke to a customer support worker on xbl chat here and they asked me to clear the Alternative MAc.

    This fixed the issue and im downloading fine just need to check mp connection when the xbl alert has resolved and were all good.

  10. Ok no problem guys will check properly when i get some mp games on the go tomorrow.

    Just got back and had to do it again as diablo 3 couldnt sync my save game, worked after clearing it again.

    Will update again tomorrow.

    Is it possible to get packet loss that exceeds 100%?

    100% packet loss is the maximum that is possible. However, occasionally it is possible that there may be a bug causing the packet loss to appear more than 100%, but this is uncommon. The maximum is 100%.

    You would not have any connection to the internet, let alone XBLive, if packet loss is 100%. Connection relies on the ability of packets, information data blocks, for lack of a better term, to recognise and acknowledge the data has been sent and received
    correctly, ie no corruption.

    Edit.. Data showing 100% packet loss has to be a result of local internal corruption of the processors, and would require a restart.
