    100% Packet Loss

Same issue. 100% Packet loss. No packet loss from my PC. Wireless connection via my Xbox one. Has been working fine just 10 hours ago. Tried it today: 100% packet loss.

  5. 1. Wired or Wireless

    2. Pingtest.net results (to see if there is high latency/packetloss)

    - ping:

    - jitter:

    3. ISP

    4. Make and model of Router (if used):

    5. Make and model of modem or Gateway (if used):

    6. Powercycled network equipment: Yes/No:

DSL reporting on packetloss has been adjusted. Please let me know the answers to the questions listed above for a better answer. The short answer is: if the connection at your girlfriends house is good, then the issue is not the Xbox. There may an easy setting
to adjust to maximize the performance of the Xbox in your house. Please PM me if I do not respond quickly to your answers (things are busy and I miss a thread or 2 from time to time). Have a good day.

    Cheers

  6. I have been getting "100% packet loss" for nearly a week now. My friend, about 30 miles away, has been getting it since last week. My ex's brother has been having other problems like freezing.

I am completely unable to play any game but Titanfall. It claims I have 1 bar yet I am able to very easily play it with no stuttering or weird issues and while claiming 1 bar it says I have 41ms ping.

Pingtest says 23ms 11ms jitter 0% packet loss.

I have an Open NAT and can do everything BUT play games.

    Frontier is my ISP

I have played online multiple times and had no issue yet this week I cannot play at all which just so happens to be the one week I can actually play Destiny... go figure... This has been the most frustrating console I have ever owned since I started gaming.

    1. its wireless

    2. the ping is 19ms

and the jitter is 2ms with 0% packetloss

    3. isp is comcast cable

    4. i have the new xfinity one that is the router and modem. (do also have another router that is linksys)

    5. modem/ router combo from comcast xfinity

    6. for this one, idk. we just set up the new modem from comcast

  8. 100% packet loss

Do you still have the Linksys hooked up? If so you are running through 3 firewalls (depending on which gateway Comcast gave you). If using the Linksys you will want to "bridge" the Comcast gateway. Still though... the Make AND Model would be wonderful to
know (every gateway, router, modem, stb, avr, tv... etc are different, and use different settings to optimize).

  10. I've had the same message/problems. It has been worse since the update preview came out.

  11. Yeah, in order to NOT get the high packet loss message I have to disable UPnP on my router effectively breaking literally everything else on my network. I had this issue before with the Xbox One and UPnP but it has been a while and it threw a different
error. Now disabling it lets me play and enabling it immediately boots me. Maybe taking the xbox back to DHCP now and letting it try to open its own ports would work but I doubt it.

  12. forums.xbox.com/.../1444725.aspx <- look under known issues in short: call the ISP and say (exactly) "I
am using my own router, I would like you to Bridge my Technicolor please". They will put you on hold for a minute the "smartGateway" will blink a few times, and the connection should be better. For best results trade in the Technicolor at Comcast for an "SB"
model Motorola, or a "TM" model Arris.

ProzacTheClown, demob APT, I assume you have the exact same equipment right (in the same configuration)? If not, then same issue does not equal the same causation. Please provide the following information:

    1. Wired or Wireless

    2. Pingtest.net results (to see if there is high latency/packetloss)

    - ping:

    - jitter:

    3. ISP

    4. Make and model of Router (if used):

    5. Make and model of modem or Gateway (if used):

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Cheers

  13. 100% packet loss

I don't think I do have the same problem now. My connection seems to be behaving as it should. Played Forza online for over an hour and half with no issues (and no flying cars). Thanks for the response though Hermes.

  14. No worries. If you run across the same issue again, you have the solution to get you through 100% packet loss :)

How are you folks doing: Dickinabox2, theberg5, Prozactheclown?

    Hello everyone,

I had this issue and was able to fix it by changing the wireless channel. I had called Time Warner (internet provider) and they suggested switching the channel from 6 to 11 as 11 was "stronger". It then began working just fine. Hope this helps.
