100% Network Packet Loss error

Discus and support 100% Network Packet Loss error in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; As instructed we restarted the x-box, unplugged and reconnected the router then attempted to select "Test Multi-player connection".     100% Network Packet Loss error


    As instructed we restarted the x-box, unplugged and reconnected the router then attempted to select "Test Multi-player connection".

    Here are the network stats after doing so:

    Download Speed 140 mbps

    Upload Speed 12.00 mbps

    Packet loss 100%

    MTU 1480

    Latency 0

    *** Ping is not shown ***

    All other connections in the home using Wifi (computers, phones, etc.) are working fine with no apparent performance issues. Any suggestions on what else we might try?

    Thanks for that info. Please see our Multiplayer Connection troubleshooting guide as it includes steps for issues pertaining to packet loss
    under "You have high packet loss". While your packet loss is not currently high, any packet loss can contribute to any network issues you're experiencing.

    Sorry to hear about the Packet Loss trouble you're having. So that we can get you on the right track with fixing this, please run through all the steps in our

    Xbox One Multiplayer Troubleshooter
    . There's an option in there for packet loss which should help you out 100% Network Packet Loss error :)

    AFTER completing these steps I get the result I described above ..

    Download Speed 140 mbps

    Upload Speed 12.00 mbps

    Packet loss 100%

    MTU 1480

  6. are you wired or wireless ? ....either way , switch to the other and see if its any different......you can also try and make a hotspot with your phone and see if its any better.....

    100% Network Packet Loss error

    Wireless. The overall performance seems fine for all other devices.

    The router is one I recently purchased new from Best Buy. It is a Netgear Nighthawk X6.

    It is a Cable modem. Xfinity "Technicolor" is what is says.
