100% DOWNLOAD - "INSTALLATION STOPPED" ERROR

What is going on with xbox one dlc downloading.

Can't download the dlc for farcry 4 nor any other game for that matter. At 100% it says "INSTALLATION STOPPED" and doesn't finish the download.

Anyone else?

[/quote] I've had that happen on a few of my downloads before, try going to my games and apps and you should be able to retry it.

FunkayFooj, since you have the preview dashboard, you'll want to have your brother report the issue via the preview app on the console, or in the preview forums (forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx).
If you get a message that says Group Not Found, have him create a post here requesting access:

forums.xbox.com/.../4268.aspx

Also, it sounds like your issue is different, because you are installing from a disc. Usually, turning the Xbox off by holding the Xbox logo on the front until it fully shuts down and unplugging the power cord from the back for 5 minutes will help this.
I always choose Update Later when prompted, because it makes the game install faster.

Even if it works after that, you'll still want to have him report it so the preview team is aware of the issue.

Downloads on Xbox One will continue to have issues until the problems have been resolved.

 

I'm having the same issue trying to install any apps. Brand new console, internet is fine, already hard reset. All installs fail at 100% with "Installation Stopped" and error code 0x87df2ee2. Same issue?

 

Due to the service alert, I suspect your downloads are not actually getting to 100%. Instead they are failing much earlier (Xbox Live is having issues, per the link I posted above) and so when they fail it jumps to 100%.

It probably will not work before the issues have been resolved, which you can track on the Service Alert page.

 

I'm having the exact same problem. It's with the Hurk's Redemption DLC from the limited edition. The game installed okay along with the 600MB+ update, but the 8.8MB DLC won't install.

 

Same thing is happening to me, it's the service alert issues.

 

It's not the service alert issues, or at least not for me. I've had this problem for more than a month.

 

I'm still getting the error, despite the status change. Never got this error before this weekend.

 

im also getting this error. tried the youtube app as well as one of the free games with gold and both have the same result. get to 100% and then fail.

 

I've been having this same problem on a brand new Xbox One...it gets to 100%, then states "Installation Stopped," and then moves on to the next item in the queue, and then does it again. Was able to cancel a couple of the downloads and restart and it worked...but
it's happening way too often. It wouldn't be so frustrating, had I not been using up so much of my internet monthly download allotment for a failed install!!

 

Right, so after the issues Xbox Live had yesterday, it could still be having a knock-on effect on your downloads. Cancel any that are being problematic (highlight in the Queue, hit the Menu button (three horizontal lines) and then select Cancel) and then
power cycle your console (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console) and turn your router off for a minute before turning it back on.

This should hopefully clear out any lingering issues.

Hi the same thing is happening to me, and I have tried to do what you adviced I hope this doesn't happen for long as I have just purchased my console today

 

I ran through the power cycle, and winner winner chicken dinner! Finally able to install. Thank you!
